Three Levels of Cisco Certifications
Organizations, corporations and even individuals have computers and devices networked together. In fact we have hundreds of thousands of inter-connected networks. Therefore it is desirable to be able to inter-network them together to create ever larger networks of inter-connected computers. This ability to create even larger networks of networks is becoming essential in even small businesses. Cisco is the current leader in network certification. Cisco networking is divided into three levels:
- Associate level certification is the entry level certificate for all networking paths in the Cisco course. It is designated as CCNA for all except Design / Routing & Switching. 640-802 exam is the most concerned one of all the CCNA exams.
- Professional level certification is designated by CC*P, where * is N, D, S, P, I, or V, depending on the different field of work. 642-825 exam, 642-845 exam, 642-812 exam and 642-901 exam are the most popular ones and they all belong to CCNP.
- Expert is designated by CCIE, and is the highest level of Cisco certification possible. Many people are dedicated to 350-001 exam, 350-018 exam or 350-030 exam now.
