Cisco Express Foundation Sales Specialist:"Designed exclusively for Channel Partners, the Cisco Express Foundation Sales Specialist develops network preparation and planning skills for customer sales that would typically be required of an account manager. The Sales Specialist demonstrates a fundamental understanding of the value of IP networks for business and network architectures featuring Cisco routing and switching offerings, and the basic steps required to incorporate wireless and security technologies into the IP Network. The Cisco Express Foundation Sales Specialist has demonstrated the skills and knowledge needed to sell converged IP network solutions. This includes application of Cisco-verified best practices for these tasks and use of the various job aids and tools provided to facilitate successful network sales and ongoing account growth."

Prerequisites: The prerequisite for the Cisco Express Foundation Sales Specialist Certification is a valid Cisco Sales Expert: 646-204 CSE

The 646-204 CSE Cisco Sales Expert exam tests a candidate's knowledge of the features and benefits of unified communications, mobility, security, data center, routing and switching products, service and support offerings, partner tools and the competitive differentiators and positioning of Cisco solutions. Candidates can prepare for this exam by taking the CSE Cisco Sales Expert course.

Required Exam: Cisco requires one exam to attain this certification; 646-363 CXFA

The 646-363 CXFA exam is intended primarily for Cisco Channel Partner Account Managers. The exam tests a candidate's knowledge of: 1)The features and benefits of wireless, security, and routing and switching products and solutions. 2) How Cisco's products and solutions are integrated into a customers network. 3) The competitive differentiators and positioning of the products and solutions. 4) The features, benefits and value of the Cisco Smart Business Communication Systems (SBCS) solution. 5) The Cisco Lifecycle Services approach: How to successfully sell, deploy, and support Cisco technologies.

 

Recertification: Cisco Specialist Certifications are valid for two years. To recertify, you will need to take and pass the current version of the required exam(s) or pass a current CCIE written exam.
