Charles Lewis Tiffany is a master with diamonds! He was even called the King of Diamonds. The king of diamonds opened the first store with John B Young in 1837. The store was originally called Tiffany & Young, but later changed the name to Tiffany & co when Charles Tiffany brought his partner out.

Tiffany created an art range of jewellery in 1902 and this displayed enamel jewellery made by Louis tiffany which was Charles tiffany’s son. Lois Tiffany was also responsible for creating the famous stained glass lampshades and windows which were made in his studios. In 1940 Tiffany moved to Fifth Avenue and 57th street in Manhattan which is where it still remains today.
